Weekend Pool Tournaments
The Players Association will host 3 tournaments per year for the participating members / teams in the league.
- The tournaments will usually be held within one month of a session end date.
- All teams are included in the tournament.
- Payout is first thru last.
- The venue will be in a club style atmosphere with food and alcohol.
- The cost to enter the tournament is nothing
- All monies collected throughout the session are paid at the tournament minus secretary and table setup fees
Example League with only 10 teams
- $35 x 10 teams x 16 weeks = $5600
- plus 80 memberships @ $10 = $800
- minus $5 per week op / sec fee = $800
- minus pool tables setup fee for the tournament approx = $800
- Payouts at the tournament (all teams paid even down to last)
- $1600 1st place
- $800 2nd place
- $400 3rd and 4th place
- $200 5th and 6th place
- $100 7th thru 10th place
- End of session special cash awards for each skill level - entry free tournament
- Top 4 players from each skill level play for $75 / $25 (total payout $600)
- 6 host locations will be picked to host the 6 tournaments
- 4 top players from each skill level play at 6 different locations starting at normal league time
- 7/8 skill levels play in the same tournament
- Tournaments will be played the same night of the week directly following the end of the session.
- Single elimination handicap race
- $75 to 1st place / $25 to 2nd place of each skill level
Example with other amounts of teams playing on multiple nights after secretary fees, table setup fees, and special cash awards to each skill level. This is the approximate amount that would be paid at the weekend tournament every 16 weeks.

- 20 teams $9,200
- 25 teams $12,000
- 30 teams $14,800
- 35 teams $17,600
